Recent Work

My most recent work, as of 2021 they're likely to have been as part of university coursework or something related to it.

Bullsmouth is an interactive video experience much like an Full Motion Video (FMV) Game, Bullsmouth is a riff on 80s and early 90s British gameshows and in particular the gameshow Bullseye, this was created for a university assignment as part of an interactive video module.

This is a WordPress theme created for a university assignment, created using Timber a plugin that enables the use of the Twig templating engine, developing this theme was quite the learning experience as it was a lot more complex than I was expecting it to be.

The design and building of Allegria was part of a first year assignment in my foundation degree, the assignment was to redesign and build a modern looking website for the restaurant. The design for this project was created in Adobe XD and in the process of building the final working website I used modern CSS Grids and Flexbox as opposed to relying on Bootstrap as I have done in the past for most of my personal projects.

Older Work

These are examples of much older work, they're either too old to be around on the internet anymore or unfinished work.

Website created for my father's sign making business utilising the Bootstrap framework, the framework certainly made putting a site together a lot easier and with the added benefits of having a modern responsive layout.

This a bit of freelance work I took on for a friend as he was busy it was just a small project to turn a mockup into a functioning website ready for him to add the property lettings and sales systems, the layout hosted on my site is just a shell and has none of the functionality the site eventually had the Coastal Lettings site as of today has changed a fair bit since this layout.

Year: 2012

After completing the rewrite of the Compensation Connect site I was then asked to start of a new website for Zoosh Media the company I worked for at the time, I had partially completed the layout and code for the site before the company went bankrupt.

Year: 2010

This was my first big project at Zoosh Media, I had to rebuild the sites CSS and HTML has it had been continuously tacked onto for a number of iterations and was becoming a mess to maintain, looking back at this site I know there’s still a lot of issues with regards to the CSS as I was pressed for time and it very much doesn’t stand up to modern websites as this site is from 2010, the build of the site hosted here is from an old archive as Compensation Connect no longer exists and as such some features might be broken.
